If you have reported any symptoms, high risk travel or close contact, or tested positive for current infection, your passport status will automatically stay red throughout your 14-day self-isolation period.
The only way to reset your passport to amber or green before 14 days is up is to take a PCR test that checks for the virus itself. If you test negative for a current infection your test result will enable the green state on your passport.
